Start dagopvang voor gehandicapte kinderen in Sarangkot.

Na een mooie en druk bezochte opening van het schooltje op 14 Mei 2010 met Nepalese heren die allemaal hun zegje wilde doen en een het presteerde om te speechen met de mobiel aan zijn oor , is het nieuwe gebouw eindelijk in gebruik genomen.

Uffff...How to describe this wonderful experience........

I came to Nepal following a feeling that I had since long time ago of making a volunteer work in this country. Today, after already 4 months in this lovely country I can say 100% sure that was the best decision I could even take in my life.

Finding Sabine and Ram and their NGO ‘Quality of Life’ has made our Nepal experience all the more special for us.

We are a married British couple without an ounce of experience in dealing with children and, it would be fair to say, a degree of fear at the prospect of doing so, but we were keen and ailing to give anything a go if it meant we could help out in some way. So, we headed up to the fantastic place that is Sarangkot where the Day Care Centre for children age 2-5 years is based.

Toen ik in een jaar geleden aankwam in Sarangkot was ik onder de indruk van het uitzicht.
Elke natuurliefhebber moet hier enkele keren met zijn ogen knipperen om te geloven dat het écht is.. de hoogste toppen van de wereld zie je niet iedere dag...
